We make our Reproduction WW1 dog tag sets using the original dog tag stamping kit. generally called the "marking outfit for stamping metal" this was done by hand, no machine was used to make these tag sets.
There were several ways that original dog tags were stamped at this time. standard information would have been first and last name, rank and unit/branch of service. the serial number would have been on the reverse side.
We have reproduced the WW1 aluminum dog tag discs from original
WWI dog tag sets. these are laser cut to exact dimensions as the originals. as the original sets were supposed to be, we have the one hole and two hole dog tag discs. they can be set up several different ways when ordered or you can contact us to have them set up anyway that you like.
The wwi identification tag sets will include 36" of original type cotton cord.

You can have any information you would like stamped on your
reproduction ww1 dog tags. we will by default stamp as were done unless you request otherwise along with your order.
we mail all out dog tag sets via usps first class mail and within 24-48 hours of orders weekdays. purchases made weekends will be mailed out monday or tuesday.
